What is the most important day in your life?

Someone once asked this question and the answer made total sense to me.

Let us read the verse bellow:
“Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: ‘The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.’ (Ezekiel 33:12 NKJV)

The most important day is today, forget all the years you lived right or wrong, what counts is that last minute.

Now the problem is that we don't know when is the last minute, for this reason you must live everyday as if it is your last, being right with God.

Two things you need to prosper in all you do!

Joshua was the greatest conquerer of land in his time, he lead the conquest of the promise land. But God required two things from him:

"Only be strong and very courageous...that you may prosper wherever you go. Joshua 1:7

If you want to succeed, you need to be strong.

Be strong when everything is going wrong.

Be strong when you hear bad news.

Be strong when there is no hope anymore.

God said let the weak say I am strong, what have you been saying to yourself?

Apart from being strong you also need to be very courageous in other to face your enemies in spite of your fears.

I learned that courage is not the absence of fear but it is to take action even when you are afraid.

Joshua was now alone, he became the leader of God's nation on earth and had the task to face the giants ahead of him, he could not consider his fears nor look at the size of his enemies, he had to be courageous.

What about you?

Are you strong and courageous?

God Bless you

Do not get lazy

Continuing from yesterday's message

Let us meditate on the verse bellow:

"It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem."

"
Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king’s house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold.
So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, “Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?” Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house. And the woman conceived; so she sent and told David, and said, “I am with child.” 2 Samuel 11:1-5

Let me highlight these words, "at the time when kings go out to battle"  but the king was not in battle he was at home, relaxing and you see what happened.

Normally it is when we are lazy, relaxing not in battle that the devil come and tempts us.

Don't be lazy.

The battle is not over yet.

Keep fighting until you conquer.

God Bless you...

It is not over yet

There is something I have noticed in these past years.

Always after we finish a major campaign in the church whether it is a campaign of Israel, special event, 21 Days etc... The days that follow the campaign many people get lazy or relaxed.

Sometimes they have not conquered what they want but because the church is not emphasising it anymore the person stop fighting.

Let us learn with David he said:
" I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed." Psalm 18:37

Don't Relax.

It is not over until we win.

Where Jesus is!

Meditate on the chapter and verses bellow with me:

John 7:32,39

32 The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him. 33 Then Jesus said to them,[f] “I shall be with you a little while longer, andthen I go to Him who sent Me. 34 You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come.”

Jesus is showing us why many people are seeking and are not finding him because they cannot come where He is.

The place where Jesus is, The Altar, demands sacrifice from us.

Like the Pharisees, many of us want to receive the Holy Spirit without paying the price of surrendering all physically, spiritually and materially.

35 Then the Jews said among themselves, “Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? 36 What is this thing that He said,‘You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come’?”

The Promise of the Holy Spirit

37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing[g] in Him would receive; for the Holy[h] Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

During these 21 days, Jesus has been calling those who thirst for Him, to the Altar of sacrifice to do what the scripture says.

Mount Hermon: Bishop Jadson Santos

Transcript: Do you have a problem in your life that you cannot solve, an area that is putting you to shame, crushing you, destroying you?  Did you know that Jesus had twelve disciples but he separated three to climb Mount Hermon and nine stayed behind.

The ones who stayed behind tried to cast out a demon but they could not, they had cast out demons before but that particular demon they were not able to cast out because there are certain demons that in other for you to cast out your life have to be on the altar 100%, they needed to have authority.

You noticed that there are certain blessings that your received without even asking, but there are some problems that you will only overcome when you overcome the evil, but you must have the Holy Spirit  to overcome and have your life 100% on the altar.

Jesus chose three disciples that made the difference in the world, James was the first bishop, Peter was the Apostle of the Holy Spirit and John received the revelation, you see when we speak about the book of Revelation everything stops and tremble.

We notice that every time God wants to do great things he first made a selection. He does not work with quantity but with quality. He chose three disciples, for great things. You must think big, even if you don't see great things happening now, you must think big and if this is inside of you, sooner  or later you will have a great testimony and this will be in all areas of your life.

The change has to start from inside out, when you go to the altar is because the Holy Spirit is touching you to do great things in your life.

Jesus chose three and i don't know how many are in these group of three, but you will climb the altar with your sacrifice, depending on God totally, I don't know the amount, it must be a sacrifice, it has to cause pain, to place 100% in God's hand.

Maybe you ask Can i do it without sacrificing?
Tell me something great that Jesus did without sacrificing, God could have saved Noah's family without the arc isn't it? Is He not God? But there needed to be sacrifice, it makes your depend on God totally and completely.   When you go to the altar with your sacrifice it represents your life being given 100% to God.

Have you seen a demon manifested, they make the face of the person to be disfigured or deformed, when the devil enters someones life he leave the persons body twisted and the eyes turned, deformed, but God transforms your life.

It was on Mount Hermon that Jesus revealed himself as God, he was shinning more than the sun, is there metal that shines more than the sun, when you look at the sun you can't stand it for long.

Your life has to shine, when people look at you they have to admire you because God dwells inside of you.
Mount Hermon means a lot for those who are in the faith.

Are you willing to pay this price?

"Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:25,27 NKJV

The Holy Spirit was given first to the disciples and until today He does not give his Spirit to those who do not want to be used by him.

When we look at the passage above, we see the price we must pay to have the Holy Spirit and become His disciples.

Let us look carefully at it:

  1. Hate his father, mother, wife, children, brothers and sisters.
  2. And his own life also.
It means your love for you family cannot be greater than your love for him, because when you decide to serve him, your family will very likely turn against you and if you love them more than him you will leave him for you do not want to displease your family.

He also emphasise that fact you have to hate your own life also, meaning your will or desires to please him.

Maybe you say I want the Holy Spirit but are you willing to pay the price?
