40 days challenge day 1

For God there is no limit!

And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are— northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. (Genesis 13:14-15 NKJV)

Two points:
1) Abram had no children and for him, the Nephew was like a son but he separated himself from him ( sacrificed ) as soon as he did that, God told him to lift his eyes and look to all directions because he would give him that land forever.

2) There was no limit to what God could give him. In the same way we cannot have a limit to what we will give to God. What we will sacrifice on the altar has to be without a limit, we have to believe that what God is asking can be built because there is no limit to what He can give.
It is written that: You are not restricted by us but by your own affection. 2nd Cor 6:12
And the spirit of the prophet is subject to the prophet.
So there is no limit to what God wants to do in this campaign, only the ones we set ourselves.
God Bless you

Where are you eyes taking you?

Many times in life we find ourselves in a crossroad, where we have an important decision to make. Maybe you are at that crossroad right now asking yourself which way should I go?

Look at Lot's exemple:

"And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar." Gen 13:10 NKJV

He made a decision based on what his eyes saw and not by what his faith was seeing and that turned out to be a terrible one, first he was taken captive and later the city he had chosen to live on was destroyed, to make things worse his wife died as a statue of salt and his own daughters sleept and had children with him.

How many people are destroying their marriage because the eyes saw a more handsome man or beautiful women.

The eyes saw a beautiful car, dress, phone etc... that you could not afford but you ignored the mind and followed what you saw.

We can talk about many examples but the bottom line is, if you want to make the right choices in life, don't be led by what your eyes are seeing but analise the situation with your intelligent faith and them make a decision.

Remember:

"There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death." Pv 16:25

Issac's Inheritance to Jacob

Before Isaac blessed Jacob, he first had to be sure he would not delegate his authority, anointing and blessings inherited from his father Abraham to just anyone. The inheritance received from his father Abraham was eternal. It had no price and had to be passed on to the first child. After all, it was the Lord's authority that was being transferred.

AN INHERITANCE THAT WOULD NEVER END WITH THE DEATH OF THE INHERITOR.

IT SHOULD BE PASSED ON FROM FATHER TO SON UNTIL THE RETURN OF THE FIRSTBORN OF ALL FIRSTBORNS: JESUS.

It means that this BLESSING CONTINUES IN ALL STRENGTH IN THE LIFE OF ABRAHAM’S DESCENDANTS.

IT WAS NOT REVOKED AND CANNOT BE ERASED.

For it is written:
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.” Numbers 23:19-20

Recognition
And he came near and kissed him; and he smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him and said: Surely, the smell of my son is like the smell of a field  which the Lord has blessed.

After being absolutely sure of who he was going to transfer his authority to, Isaac determined the three blessings.

First: Guarantee of Prosperity
Therefore may God give you of the dew of heaven, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.

Second: Guarantee of Leadership - entrepreneur, head, owner etc… -
Let peoples serve you,  and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother’s sons bow down to you.

Third: Guarantee of Security
Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!” Genesis 27:27-29
