Jesus Promises Another Helper - How to receive? 4th Day

Jesus Promises Another Helper

15 “If you love Me, keep[d] My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
John 14:15-17 NKJV

Who in these world has never needed help?

Since we were children we always needed help from our parents and others.

The Holy Spirit is the Helper who Jesus has sent from heaven to be with us forever.

He wants to dwell within you today.

Let me show through the passage bellow:

19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

There are so much to talk about but let me highlight a few steps:

  1. Approach the Altar with boldness because of the sacrifice made
  2. Draw near with a true heart - Be sincere with God
  3. Full assurance of faith - Don't doubt
  4. Have a clean heart and conscience, otherwise when seeking the Holy Spirit the devil will accuse you.
  5. Hold fast to the promise for he is faithful.
  6. Do not stop coming to the services to seek the Holy Spirit.

Apply these and other steps and I am sure the Holy Spirit will come upon you, even now there where you are you can receive it.

God Bless you.
